Our lives are soaked in an endless sea of external ideas, opinions and beliefs. And, although these may seem important at times, they are also limiting and oppressive. Once we get beyond the stagnant cloak of reality created in layers over time by our interaction with the world and our physical selves we can reach inside to explore the essence of our being. Many factors limit our ability to reach within, and as we grow older and pass through more and more experience, the cloak thickens like the bark on an ancient elm. / You entered this physical world to immerse yourself in the sensuous; the festival of lights, sounds, tastes, feeling and emotions. Peel away the layers and let the universe caress your soul. Also available as cards and Prints
The world is filled with color as the leaves flutter and sway; some fly off into the distance following a secret destiny careered by currents that only leaves can understand, others bump against your skin and become tangled in your hair and clothing and some sweep lazily through the air in a zig-zagging pattern to the ground. / Stop now, and listen. / Close you eyes. / Feel the wind rush against your body. / Envision the currents running through your veins. / Hear the pulsing of your heart. / You are free. I am the curving branch dancing in the wind, I am the drop of dew clinging to the tip of a delicate leaf, I am the firm bolder upon which fertile earth has gathered and into which creep the roots of a mighty pine. I am the rustling leaves and the autumn breeze. I am the silence that surrounds me and flows through me. I am the path; I am the wanderer, and I am the journey. Also available as a Print
