This shot was taken from the Destin Harbor – Destin, FL. The sunset cruises were coming in for the evening. This is one of the sunset cruises that I caught coming back into the harbor. During post processing in Photoshop I added a larger than life moon via the Lunar Cell filter. It seemed like it added a mysterious beckoning element to the photo. Enjoy. / / Click on the buy/preview button to see the many RedBubble print options for this photo.

Flagler Beach, Florida. / Such an amazing place… miles and miles of beautiful sand, and very few people. So much space to beachcomb… The boardwalk is one of many that span the short hop over the dunes from the roadside of the A1A… one of the most magnificent coastline highways in the US, running from Miami Beach in the south all the way to Jacksonville in the north. Large sections of the highway are so fragile that they’re under threat of being consumed by rising sea levels, and though so much is being done to counter the erosion, I can’t help but think the breath-taking views it provides will soon be but an amazing memory. HDR from 3 bracketed exposures at 1,5 f stop intervals.
