The Biltmore hotel. Inside the lobby at the foot of the stairs are these wonderful scary looking statues. ‘Socha’ is Slovak for statue.

Beautiful illumination on Macarthur causeway / It is a six lane highway that links downtown Miami, Florida with the city of Miami Beach.
I usually buy t-shirts as souvenirs wherever I go. I didn’t find one I liked in Miami Beach. The Pink Flamingoes were too cheesy, and overplayed. They now work better in Boston Legal than in Miami. I would like to think that this is the best Miami Beach t-shirt and poster done in Pennsylvania. / This picture is a battle between the realist and surrealist muses of my consciousness. I wanted detail, but I also wanted an Art Deco feel to it. It may look a little “cartoony”, but hey, I am a cartoon. My goal in life is to turn everyday into Saturday morning. And Saturday morning on the beach, when it’s really snowing on a Sunday night , is not a bad reality to have. / My influences are Mucha, Parish, Rousseau, and all the advertisements done from 1900’s to 1960’s. They can be a little cartoony, too. / This a Photoshop piece, and I committed the mortal sin of applying “filters” to get texture in the sand and ocean. Pen tool, air brush, paint bucket were the predominant tools. /
Picture Taken In Miami Metro Zoo. One of the most beautiful birds in this planet. Its sad to know that the flamingos are dying by thousands due to pollution and their habitats being destroyed.
