‘Friends Series’ TShirt by Karin Taylor One Spring Day is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, charcoal, acrylic) on canvas textured paper. I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

THE DESIGN IS ALSO ADORABLE ON OTHER SHAPELY SHIRTS! / FINALLY ON AN APRON / I began with a floral paintbrush from the magic brushes. I ran the brush all over the canvas. Then I changed the colors of the flowers on the second layer. With soft brushes I added centers on some of the flowers, yellow and orange. I then added a black ring brush as the final touch. I filtered it to give it it’s vibrance and simplified the edges. I also went into the kyoto color filter to check the varied colored schemes and I chose this one. Then I clicked on my brushes again and chose a heart brush and placed it on the image, then I carefully erased all around the heart and Taadaaa! I love the way it came out. I resized it and warped it a bit to get it perfect on the shirt.
