I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

Two little cuties in a Gum Tree.

Mixed media work. I composed the background with a fractal design and photoshop elements. Ted took the photograph of this rose and made a perfect cut out. After blending the two and playing with filters I got this endresult.

Sorry for another flower shot….heres a little bit more of my lily macro work…...I keep telling myself..’no more flower shots…..no more flower shots…..’ sorry…I love flowers though…..Flowers are probably my favorite..and Lillies are definately my favorite..right by irises and orchids…maybe thats why I named my daughter Lillian and call her lily..but anywhoo.. / I promise to try to diversify over the next little while unless I find an absolute masterpiece among my petalled friends…...Thanks again! / Suni

This was the first flower my husband ever gave me. / I was just about to drive off to work, he yelled “wait”....ran over to the bottom of the Frangipani tree, scaled a 44 gallon drum and plucked one of the few remaining flowers of the season that he could possibly reach without falling off, came back over to the car and presented it to me through the window...
