RThis is a picture from when the back paddock flooded. i thought it looked so beautiful much more then what it usually looks like so i decided to preserve the image.
For it’s length, Benniworth has surprisingly few alcoves… If I was an engineer with a steam train bearing down on me I wouldn’t fancy my chances of running on all that track balast! Whereas the previous shots have been ambient light only this one had 3 light sources – Magoo2’s blue LED torch for the alcove, my big bad ‘Nightsearcher’ for the main tunnel, and ambient light coming in from the distance… Again the star effect is a natural result of an f8 aperture over time.

The viaduct is the longest masonry structure on Britain’s railway system.
