Taken in October 05 on our whale watch boat. This one was “waving” at us. It was rolling on it’s side and bringing it’s flipper out of the water. I just figured he was waving at all of us standing on the boat. As always, thanks for stopping by and viewing, commenting or suggesting. I apprecate you taking the time to do so. :-)

Here we have the 10 Flippered Green Armored Turtle Beetle,talk about been flipped out. / This beetle is native to the cold waters of the Gratis River,on Far Earthholme. Some mature species can reach a length exceeding 6’,the flippers or paddles are highly poisonous,and they find nourishment mostly from the castings of Yellow Slime Worms. Considered a delicacy with many beings,once the fippers are removed,and the rest steamed and served with DoubleBee Nectar. excerpt from Zorind’s “Cookery from Beyond the Edge” 5th printing,human translation. These Big boys can live a long time but they are still endangered.
