Whatever we ponder requires reflection. Our perception somehow returned back to us. Our we the creator or created? Is there really a true difference other than perception?

The graveyard on the Hill of Slaine is still in use. On this day, as we walked down the hill back to our car, an old gentleman was making his way up. We wished him good day, and he nodded his head in acknowledgment. He used a cane to make his way up the steep slope to the graveyard, walking slowly, almost painfully. Was he visiting his wife, or perhaps his Mother and Father? We’ll never know. But one thing is sure, whoever it was, he was devoted in his love and remembrance. Our position and perspective of reality is bound to the confines of our imagination. Humans have long been fascinated with other dimensions. In the 1800’s the fourth dimension was the focus of much exploration. Building or drawing a 4d cube was impossible in the 3d world we find ourselves within. Ingenuity grew a way to represent a 4d cube. Much as you can layout a 3d cube in 2d space by unwrapping the sides, you can unwrap a 4d cube and lay it out in 3d space. Dali used the layout, which looks like a cross of sorts, in some of his art. I did a series of images using a 3d layout of a 4d cube. This image was created during that series. / Another from the series can be viewed here.

A we move down our path, we leave things behind. The hour glass with its sand solidified, representing completion, stands discarded. The lights though dim clearly guide us forward. Off in the distance can be seen something not yet clear nor easily described. And to the left a sort of form, perhaps a distraction? / I incorporated this image in an animation called Bound
