Another macro shot from the Sigma 150 f2.8 marco. Dropped the levels seriously after playing with selective colour. Cropped it in a little tighter for effect together with unsharp mask! I love the dazzling sunshine colours of these flowers. The one in front I focused on allowing the other flower to act as a colourful background to the main flower.

Dandelion clocks are an obvious photography item but sometimes it is hard to capture the magic of their construction; the seeds, the fineness of the feathery umbrellas, the fine hairs on the stem. This shot managed to get it all and looks great really large.
