  • Green Eggs & Ham (Flash Fiction Style)
    by Zolton

Sam was obviously hopped up on some substance and persisted. I just wanted to be left alone. He followed me to the ends of the earth with…

This is for the Flash Fiction challenge to describe a book in 150 words or less.

  • An entry for the Flash Fiction Group’s Back of an Envelope challenge. We needed to write the story as something urgent that had been written on an envelope, in less than 150 words. The only reason I write on paper is if I’m going somewhere and need that message left in the real world…

  • Spanish Monkey
    by ArcadiaTempest

She walked towards doors leading to no where in particular with the Spanish monkey still clinging on her back.

Flash Fiction – (150 words) The term Spanish monkey was something I said recently with no idea about it …..just liked the sound of it…..Not to be confused with Spanish Fly :)

    Here he could fly.

This is the Tee I chose by Nick Ford for this challenge /

  • A request from father to son since time immemorial. Really. For the Flash Fiction Challenge. Inspired by Danny’s Pull my Finger. “Pull my finger” said dad / “No” replied the son / “Go on , it’s a surprise” / “Dad, I’m thirteen. It isn’t even funny anymore” / “Go on, humour your old man” / “NO” / “Come on for your dear old dad’s sake. It’s been brewin’ for a while” / The son knew he would never get to fully enjoy the television show he was watching unless he complied with this age old ritual. / The son took his father’s finger and in a moment of cheekiness decided to push instead of pull. / The last thing the son remembers of his father was the look of shock and pain seconds before he exploded. And here’s the original Pull my Finger Click on the mousepad to view it or purchase!

  • This T-shirt is an interpretation and adaptation of ‘A Shade of Envy’ – a Story in Flash Fiction by Solar Zorra. I hope I have been able to do the creative writer justice.

  • this is an entry to the Flash Fiction and Tee Shirt Revolutioon design challege. The brief is to make a tee shirt design based on an existing story in the Flash Fiction gallery. My design is based on a short but pithy story by Rex Inkpen called ‘define weird’...... as soon as I read the first line of this wonderful tight little vingette I had the idea for the tee shirt…. hope it makes sense to you guys…. enjoy ….. oh and really… take it up to large view to really see the story…... it’s worth the effort….promise….:)

  • Inspired by the talents of Mr.Nolan for the Flash Fiction challenge Conscience by Danny “Unleaded petrol?” / “No,no…diesel…diesel that’s better” / “But it stinks” / “No, I read that it’s more economical and burns longer and that makes it more environmentally preferable” / “Wow, never would have guessed that. Diesel it is” / The two avengers filled their containers. / Metal of course. / They used a rock to smash the back window of the multi national shoe store and splashed the accelerant through the opening. / And threw in a match. / As they watched the store burn from a safe distance, one was heard saying to the other. / “You know? At least my conscience is clear…. using the diesel that is”

  • since it looks like the rain around here seems to have set in for the durataion… I’ve been amusing myself making some tee shirt designs… this one is a collaboration between myself and Rex Inkpen and it’s based on his very fine short story The Rollicking Night and it’s for a Skullduggery challenge collaboration between the Flash Fiction group and the Tee Shirt Revolution group. What I really like about Rex’s story is the ambigous time frame that it’s set in…. the smokey taven where the action happens could be contemporary or it could be set five hundred years ago so I though this very old classical pencil sketch was the perfect vechicle for dressing up with a pair of mirrored sunglasses…. what you see in life is often ambigous and not what it seems to be at first glance….. so here is a contemporary take on the skullduggery of the uber cool mirrored sunnies and what may or may not be found behind them….

The new Flash Fiction Book … Flashback … is now available on Blurb. / Check out the preview here / / Please note, the book was only uploaded this evening (Monday 16 November). / I have ordered a preview copy but the postage-free deal with Redbubble will most likely run out before the preview copy arrives. / / It’s up to you, order but caveat emptor. / HOWEVER, the final pre-print was done by our very own GeorgieGirl and beautifully done I might add. So I have every confidence in the product. Please note, on check out you will need to quote the discount voucher available as a Redbubble member. Details are here FYI / There is no mark up on this book even though available for sale through my own account. In other words, available to you at cost. edit / Just an additional comment. Please don’t congratulate me. This has been a real team effort of the hosts Chanel2 (who really kicked it on with lots of enthusiasm as well as practical help), Fleece who helped with proofing, and GeorgieGirl without whom the whole thing would have stalled at the 11th hour. And of course everyone who agree to be included in the book. I’m so proud to have been a part of this team.
