Watch the Video here The wounds on your hands never seem to heal / I thought all I needed was to believe Here am i, a lifetime away from you / The blood of christ, or the beat of my heart / My love wears forbidden colours / My life believes Senseless years thunder by / Millions are willing to give their lives for you / Does nothing live on? Learning to cope with feelings aroused in me / My hands in the soil, buried inside of myself / My love wears forbidden colours / My life believes in you once again Ill go walking in circles / While doubting the very ground beneath me / Trying to show unquestioning faith in everything / Here am i, a lifetime away from you / The blood of christ, or a change of heart My love wears forbidden colours / My life believes / My love wears forbidden colours / My life believes in you once again Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian / From the movie Merry Christmas Mister Lawrence
Listen to the song here There is a long story behind this photo. A time, when I think about it, brought a lot of sadness to me. Things past cannot be changed, but we can learn heaps from the experiences. Yes I lamented and I learned a great deal. Today there was a tragedy / Underneath the bridge / A man walked / Cold and blue / Into La Ment / The sky coloured perfect / As the man slipped away / Waving with a last vanilla smile / Somewhere at a table / Two drowned fools / Smoking / Drinking water as they talked / Of how they loved our lady / And oh the smell as candles die One more ice cream river body / Flowed underneath the bridge / Underneath the bridge The Cure
Finally got around to adding water to the bottom of this photo. You can see the original modded version of this here
Watch a Video (AMV – Advent Children) here Meet me after dark again and I’ll hold you / I want nothing more than to see you there / And maybe tonight, we’ll fly so far away / We’ll be lost before the dawn If only night could hold you where I can see you, my love / Then let me never ever wake again / And maybe tonight, we’ll fly so far away / We’ll be lost before the dawn Somehow I know that we can’t wake again from this dream / it’s not real, but it’s ours Maybe tonight, we’ll fly so far away / We’ll be lost before the dawn Maybe tonight, we’ll fly so far away / We’ll be lost before the dawn [Chanting] Evanescence

Deep within is a flame, the light and fire of your soul…burn bright, bold and beautiful always….let love set you afire…blaze hot and bright as our sun…. Cherish all that is you…... / Peace Always! / Leah ♥ *fractal and art merged together and enhanced in photoshop.
I was back up at the Bunkyou Civic Centre yesterday, this time with one of my students. The sunset was extraordinary. It was impossible to control the lens-flare as I was shooting straight into the sun for this shot. Five-shot bracketed HDR with very little done to the colour. This is pretty much, apart from a bit of a shift in the tonal contrast, what the scene looked like through the lens. Nikon D300 / Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 ED / 5-frame bracketed burst merged in Photomatix 2.5.4

Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. / ~ Woodrow T. Wilson

Trying something new: took an old fractal that was languishing in the files and used it as a base layer to re-structure and paint…added some texture from a photo image…..then edited. Photoshop Elements 3.
