This was a night of fun… experimenting with my camera… there are no Photoshop works here either… it is as is… :) Enjoy… :)
Digital, image manipulation. 16×20 inches. Planet in flames with a ring of fire.
mounted print / Some of my other work: / / / / /
The silhoette of the spring buds against a stunning colour sky
Fire from the elements series / Coloured pencil on smooth paper
Oils on canvas 30×30cm / In this one I think I painted quite closely to the manipulation. I did however turn some of the whips of fire in the shadows into locks of curly red hair. I also made some texture with the first coat. / She is of Fire / which a few changes made along the way again. / Series: / Water: / Earth: / Air: / Fire:
This photograph also appears in my 2009 Calendar Macro of Tiger lily in the evening sun. / The light in this photo comes from the descending late afternoon sun behind the bud. It was so strong at this one moment that it created the glow you see emitted from within the flower. I took this photo from the sidewalk along Peachtree Dunwoody RD in Atlanta, Georgia. Now available in a larger print /
A combination of Tiera-Zon and Apophysis…a Paint Shop Pro tube added in the flame too.

3d imaging and psp and painter x thank you Dawn for the idea of the FIre Maidens,,i think a small series has been born,,,lol :)
Radiant winged steampunk heart with tentacles. Because mixing your genres is always a good idea.
On Zazzle / on DeviantART Strongly inspired by Kagerou ... all the flowy red and orange hair, and a bit of Van Gogh’s Starry Night as well, for the background. A fierce and free magechild, who commands the fire of the night and moves through their own imagination at will… / Basically, controls the realm of dreams. / (also, Kagerou is possibly maybe initially believed to be a crazy-dream-journey) ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet
Pastel on pastel paper. My partner and I were looking after a property in Central Queensland called “Cairo”. It was hot and dry and there were many electrical storms that caused grass fires. I was in the homestead when this particular fire started. I stood captivated watching the spirits leaping & dancing out of the flames! / / / featured in Mature Woman
On DeviantART / Featured on the Homepage 15th April 2009! Firebirds. A fierce, brief indulgence, an inspired glory of exhultation. And then freedom and rising renewed to return to other things. And is the phoenix flying over the sunset, or is it setting a trail of fire and destruction…? Passing by in endless travels, rising newborn from a burning nest, or coming in to land and rest…? How many feathers falling…? ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet

Dear Peter … Josie and I just returned from Central America a few days ago … you remember .. I told you about the trip a few months ago (smile) ... Well … (grin) ... we were extremely lucky to catch a glimpse of the newest variation of the Quetzal bird … Spendorus Resplendent … only seen once before by the noted orthinologist, Roger M. Milhouse, PhD, on his last trip to the region back in 2001. You remember him don’t you? ... the bird guy from back in our university days? LOL … I know you couldn’t have forgotten him (grin) ... well … You can imagine our excitement yet we were able to quickly get his photo. No not Roger’s photo (grin) ... Do check the attachment (smile) After we returned I sent a copy to Roger who immediately emailed back that it was indeed the bird that he had seen. I plan to meet with him in a few months to tentatively plan a trip back to the area where we sited the bird. I’m so excited I can hardly wait. Would you be interested in joining me when I meet with Roger? .. Josie is tied up with another project and won’t have time to help me out on this one. I know how interested you are in the wildlife of Central America so … get back to me as soon as you can … if you’re really interested I’d love to have you join us (big smile) Cassie for more information see The Resplendent Quetzal Featured Art – October 2009 – RedBubble Group: ImageWriting Work done in Apophysis with post work in Gimp. / Best viewed large. THE FORCE AND ENERGY OF THE FIRE SERPENT EXPLODES IN A FURY OF FLAMES IN A TORNADO OF POWER WHEN SUMMONED. THIS WAS TAKEN AT A FIRE TWIRLING DISPLAY ON THE GOLD COAST. ALL DONE IN CAMERA, NO PHOTOSHOP. ONLY INCREASED SHARPNESS AND ADDED A TOUCH OF BRIGHTNESS. /
