Olinda, near the Hamer Arboretum, Dandenong Ranges.
Sherbrook Forest, Dandenong Ranges.
Taken in a back alley of Fitzroy – looking towards the back of the shops that face Brunswick street. This rusty old shed on the right recently sold for approx $600k
Seville, Vic, Australia. I saw this grove of Chestnut trees on the side of the road and jumped a barbed wire fence to shoot it. It was such a surreal morning with the mist rolling through the trees. Took about a dozen shots here and stole 7 chestnuts which I had with my dinner that night. It was only after uploading this that I decided that I’m not entirely happy with it. I have about 10 different versions of it shot at different angles some of which I think are a little better.
Snapped this guy walking past a colourful rolelrdoor in Chinatown – used PS and some plugins to warp and bubble the colours behind him.
An old Holden I snapped in the backstreets of Fitzroy, Melbourne. Bit of obvious PS work on it. Texture overlays, used the PS warp tool to alter the chrome fender into tusks and the background was removed and replaced with something a little more thematic.
Taken in Gillenbah, country NSW yesterday morning.
For some reason, I’m extremely proud of this image. I had a vision in my mind of exactly what I wanted and everything came together for me to be able to nail it.
Looking down Flinders street, Melbourne on a wintry afternoon.
Bushwalking in the rain again. This was taken some time last year. It waswet, cold and thesun was just coming up. It was so quiet, I just had to stop, take a breather and a snap. Looks better large
This was taken after a Flickr meetup in the Dandenong Ranges earlier this year. Its a grove of trees up in Ferny Creek that I just love to shoot (I have an Autumn shot from here too).
Some more IR – I just cant get enough of this. i saw some of Naomi Frosts work here on RB, she gave me some good advice and I promptly bought an IR filter off Ebay – I just love the effects you can get with it. Thanks Naomi – this ones for you.
Built this one from scratch using PS CS. The grass in the foreground was a close up of some strange looking flowers that I warped, the sky, moon and bubbles were also added and I had a pic of this guy on stilts lying around so threw that in too.
