Pickups and Thunderstorms I was really going for exposure and atmosphere here with this shot featuring a 60 Chevy Pickup. It just really had an air about it…...

On Zazzle / on DeviantART Strongly inspired by Kagerou ... all the flowy red and orange hair, and a bit of Van Gogh’s Starry Night as well, for the background. A fierce and free magechild, who commands the fire of the night and moves through their own imagination at will… / Basically, controls the realm of dreams. / (also, Kagerou is possibly maybe initially believed to be a crazy-dream-journey) ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet
Kim’s love for fire and vampires evolved into something quite explosive… what? That was good! Grr!!! lol Shot with my D80 (Nikon FTW!) / Fire shot seperately then added into image…Photoshop is my friend!
A phoenix is a mythical firebird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet symbolizing rebirth. This artwork is a mixed media creation with gold acrylic paint, embossed decorative paper, oil pastels, woodless colored pencils, marker pens, paint pens and black sharpie on Canson paper. Original measures about 12.5×19 inches. This scan does not really do the picture justice as it does not pick up the metallic golds used throughout the image. Dear Peter … Josie and I just returned from Central America a few days ago … you remember .. I told you about the trip a few months ago (smile) ... Well … (grin) ... we were extremely lucky to catch a glimpse of the newest variation of the Quetzal bird … Spendorus Resplendent … only seen once before by the noted orthinologist, Roger M. Milhouse, PhD, on his last trip to the region back in 2001. You remember him don’t you? ... the bird guy from back in our university days? LOL … I know you couldn’t have forgotten him (grin) ... well … You can imagine our excitement yet we were able to quickly get his photo. No not Roger’s photo (grin) ... Do check the attachment (smile) After we returned I sent a copy to Roger who immediately emailed back that it was indeed the bird that he had seen. I plan to meet with him in a few months to tentatively plan a trip back to the area where we sited the bird. I’m so excited I can hardly wait. Would you be interested in joining me when I meet with Roger? .. Josie is tied up with another project and won’t have time to help me out on this one. I know how interested you are in the wildlife of Central America so … get back to me as soon as you can … if you’re really interested I’d love to have you join us (big smile) Cassie for more information see The Resplendent Quetzal Featured Art – October 2009 – RedBubble Group: ImageWriting Work done in Apophysis with post work in Gimp. / Best viewed large. Into The Night Like a gift from the heavens / It was easy to tell / It was love from above / That could save me from hell / She had fire in her soul / It was easy to see / How the devil himself could be pulled out of me / There were drums in the air / As she started to dance / Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands And we sang a, away, away, away / And the voices rang like the angels sing / And singing a, away, away, away / And we danced on into the night / And we danced on into the night Like a piece to the puzzle that puzzle into place / You could tell how we felt from the look on our faces / We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes / No room left to move inbetween you and I / And we forgot where we were / And we lost track of time / And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night And we sang a, away, away, away / And the voices rang like the angels sing / And singing a, away, away, away / And we danced on into the night / And we danced on into the night / And we danced on into the night Like a gift from the heavens / It was easy to tell / It was love from above / That could save me from hell / She had fire in her soul / It was easy to see / How the devil himself could be pulled out of me / There were drums in the air as she started to dance / Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands And we sang a, away, away, away / And the voices rang like the angels sing / And singing a, away, away, away / And we danced on into the night / A, away, away, away / And the voices rang like the angels sing / And singing a, away, away, away / And we danced on into the night / A, away, away, away / A, away, away, away / Singing a, away, away, away / And we danced on into the night Nickelback
