The main stencil image is one layer of the four layer stencil I created in early 2008 inspired by my interest in fashion photography. ‘Snow and Umbrella’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘Rain Birds’ and ‘Umbrella and Rain’.

This building was once home to the largest used book store in Newfoundland. They had over 100,000 books at one time many of them old and rare. The owner decided to sell everything off cheap and retire. The historic building has been empty now for a couple of years. Photograph of snow flakes and the reflections of the trees, I used different shades of glass and metal sheets to get the look I wanted. I liked that it looks like a huge moon in the background…...It sort of looks like an abstract painting. / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . . / . / . / . / . / .
