Wow, oh wow, oh wow!! My RedBubble obsession has just become one thousand times worse as I’ve today made my very first sale. I can’t quite believe it and am so extraordinarily flattered! I’ve sold a framed print and that means that someone else will have one of my pictures on their wall!! It is the most amazing feeling and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits. Just saw that I’m a new challenge winner once again / This What Inspires you? challenge hosted by the Prize Challenges!! group is one that speaks volumes to me, and it seems that RB artists took notice of it. / The winning image Arlington West 2007, Santa Barbara, California portrays an ongoin display of the casualties in Iraq on East Beach in Santa Barbara, to protest against the war in Iraq, and increase the public awareness regarding the military and political fallout of staying there. Each Sunday morning thousands of crosses, as the number of the fallen, for that day, are placed in the sand and volunteers are providing the public with up to the moment information on casualties plus individual stories on the fallen. This image was taken at memorial day 2007 as a tribute and memorial and as a cry for peace… Yes, I am inspired by dedicated people and their efforts to restore peace and humanity back… Thank you all for your support, votes and appreciation, and to the Prize Challenges!! group hosts for this wonderful challenge . It means a lot to me.

I gave the administrators of the Psiphon.ca website permission to use an edited version of my photo Storm Flag for a promotional flash video. The flash video is used to promote an event being held on May 1, 2009 to announce a web-based service called Psiphon which helps people in censored countries to bypass Internet filtering. Chuck Biscuits, ex drummer of Black Flag, DOA, Circle Jerks, Danzig and Social Distortion`passed away on October 24, 2009, after a protracted battle with throat cancer… / Hailed as the greatest punk rock drummer of all time, born on April 17, 1965, in British Columbia, Canada, Buiscits played with DOA from 1978 to 1982 when he joined Black Flag still in their early days. Music producer Rick Rubin invited him to become the drummer for Danzig in 1987 and appeared in their first four LPs and one EP. He played with Social Distortion from 1996 to 1999 when he finally quit. As a big fan of the american punk rock this is really sad news… / Producer Bill Stevenson once said: His style was easily recognizable, and he seemed to have just a ton of extra energy when playing his drums.
