  Hey all! I mentioned a while ago in one of my other journal entries that I had something planned for my friends on RB – and well…here it is! I went through my friend list and chose the ones that have been the most helpful to me in inspiration, comments, help and everything else so far. There are so many more to do, but for now here are 9 of them. If you are not here, don’t worry – I will be doing the rest of them when I get more time! But, if you want to be put at the top of my mind for one of these groovy banners, then just keep commenting and favouriting my work! Just so you know the story behind the designs, I have challenged myself to create each piece to portray that artist (e.g. yanmos with the leaves) which was great fun to do, and in the future it will better equip me to change my style to work with more clients! So without any further ado – I bring you (in no particular order) - IMPORTANT FOR THE ARTISTS – These images are COMPLETELY FREE. They have been designed for use on your Profile page or anywhere you see fit. I do not request anything in return – I have created these because you have helped me in one way or another – so thank you! More to come – when I get the time! :)

  Hi! buddies out there … I am happy to announce that I have been made a host of the group ULTIMATE RESOURCES by Fixtape ... the creator and host of the group. I had sent a mail to fixtape suggesting some improvements to ULTIMATE RESOURCES forums. In return she asked if I am interested to be a moderator. I was very happy and agreed. Now regarding the improvements to the ULTIMATE RESOURCES group … The group will be more active from now on. / The group forum is being divided into four main forums … Official Briefcase, Resource Box, Interview of members and General Discussion. Resource Box will be again subdivided to categorise and list all the resources submitted to the group as well as resources we find out ourselves. / Resource forum subdivision will help you to find out required resource at the right place and easily. You can manually post resources in the forum posts. Also the hosts will take the initiative to go through the art / journal submitted to the group and take the juice out and post them in right forums. So next time you find out something like an online art gallery or a new software to retouch image or a competition being held somewhere please go to the group ULTIMATE RESOURCES and share it. We will be very happy to accept. / Also the next time you need anything like photoshop tutorial or brush of illustrator or modern font or website to showcase your design, please feel free to visit ULTIMATE RESOURCES . By your active participation the ULTIMATE RESOURCES group can be treasure to Redbubble artists. You wouldnt need to go elsewhere then. We want everyone to participate. Three main ways of participation. / You can submit any resource to the group ULTIMATE RESOURCES / You can also go the the ULTIMATE RESOURCES forum and write a post to share something. / Also if you come accross such useful resources / tutorials posted by others … please tell them to submit the art / tee/ journal / writing … to ULTIMATE RESOURCES We also plan to launch challenges when things are in place.

  Hi everyone – i just wanted to introduce you all to a very rad new group called / Splatter, Smudge, Smear & Drip i might be a tad biast as a co-host!......but seriously if you have some drippy splattery work you should totally join and submit!! our numbers are growing but we still need YOU to share your best piece of inky painty goodness!! the basic idea is that the work must be illustrative and prominently feature a inky/paint splatter and/or drip element of some kind…. i know there is a lot of great work out there on the bubble that fits into this category so get on over to Splatter, Smudge, Smear & Drip and let the drippety drip splat celebrations begin!!   So I stumbled across a forum tonight from the RB staff about getting your group featured section on the homepage…got very excited (as i think the splatter group just ROX) ..so i tottled off to gather up my group’s finest splattery-dripped-up wares, only to then find the forum had already been locked and was not accepting any new posts….... WELL STONE THE BLOODY CROWS. Armed with a VERY fine collection of splatter art, i could simply not recoil into the comfort of my now very stone cold tea and wear the disappointment…. i HAD to share it with you all SOMEHOW….so here it is….if you like what you see, get on over to Splatter, Smudge, Smear & Drip and get on board!!

  Hi everybooooooody / i LOVE pirates. i noticed there were no existing groups so i decided to apply to create one… im already the host of another group splatter smudge smear & drip and i also asked radically talented jumpy to co-host pirates with me. jumpy has never hosted before but is awesome so i KNOW he’ll be great. however i still havent heard from RB about my application and it’s been quite a few days now…. the other group (splatter) i co-host with fixtape got approved in one day. i have a simple theory about this – fixtape hosts several groups and jumpy hosts none and i host only ONE. so i think RB place a lot of importance on experience when approving new groups. i guess it doesnt matter how great the idea is, because come on – PIRATES = AWESOME…♥ don’t get me wrong i luuuurv the bubble and trust the RB folk and know they just do what they gotta do… so… is there anyone out there that already hosts a few groups that wants to support me and jumpy in a fledgling journey into the big exciting pond of GROUP HOSTING?!? there is some WICKED-RAD-AWESOME pirate art out there – and if you think you wanna co-host with us then please reply to this asap and i’ll pass on to RB that you’re interested – getting some strong host experience behind us might help us all get this rad group idea off the ground and into the BUBBLE! ♥ tiffatron :)
