    by Adrena87

i need a break / from you / from me / from the us that used to be / to the now that we are / to the what we could be / should be / haven’t been ...

everything i write / isn’t autobiographical sometimes the words / write themselves perhaps they reside deep within me perhaps it’s just bullshit i pull out of my ass all art isn’t literal although much is based on experience the best part is… only the artist knows what is real and what is simply fiction which is it? only the reader can make that call… depends on how the work relates to the one viewing it… that is what i love MOST about art and writing!!!

  • fluttering folly
    by Fiona Christensen

the truth, floats, down / flutters, falls, on my eyes / I see the real you, past your lies…

truth is truly amazing. it really does set you free.. i hate lies, i wish i could stay away from them but sometimes i too fall in the web of lies and deceit. there are big lies ( i avoid those cos they just bring trouble and shit) and small lies (the ones i tell occasionally) but I prefer the truth though…but its like i said, if you have perfected you poker face (like i have), you can get away with murder. Iv gotten so good at telling lies i can even get away with it from my family and closest friends… but it does take its toll, i feel it in my shoulders, my neck, in my head, my heart and on my skin… and in the lump in my throat, my eyes though, a crystal clear, unfaltering… i hate lying… Thanks to the Dykeenies for the use of some sparkly words (gracias!) :) Featured In Young Ehtusiasts
