part of a series I took at Corio Bay / /
Early morning fishing has it’s benefits…...here, nature put on a great pre-dawn show not to be missed.
The guy on the right actually had something on his line that was still in the water. I shot the Dolphin at an aquatic show in the Algarve a year later. With Photoshop, I positioned it to follow the gaze of the other guy. It was impossible to import all the tiny splashes and droplets with the dolphin photo, and I spent many hours to clone these in from a series of selected ones. Lightning in background was drawn with Photoshop tools.

Darkness always is followed by light, really.
A Park where 3 inlet waters meet and a beautiful place to take a date.
I took this shot last week. I hope you like it as much as I do? / Cheers, Joe

One of many Spring rainstorms that passed across Lorne and Loutitt Bay, on the Great Ocean Road, during the morning, creating some very peculiar lighting conditions.
Just prior to sunrise over Corio Bay, on what was promising to be a rather wet and stormy day, at Griffin’s Gully, Geelong. These promising signs were spoken of by Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, in the Bible, centuries ago. Matthew 16:1-3 The Pharisees and Sadducees Seek a Sign 1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. /

Lucky shot—had just pulled over to get the last light of the sunset reflecting off Bodega Harbor and the last boat of the night came in. Such a beautiful night for January…

This was taken in Key West off the marina watching the sunset. It was just gorgeous with boats in the water and cameras clicking away. It’s a great place for taking pictures of quaint buildings and cruise ships docked for the day. Taken with a Canon XTI. / f/8 / exposure-1/640 / ISO-200 / focal length-31mm FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHY IN-”The Nautical Group”
