Isn’t it nice when the bears share their food resources with us? Truth is, the bears are implants, but I need to point out to someone that I DID remember the shadows and reflections :)

This is a DAC image. The mountains are my pine cone seeds recharacterized to look like mountains peaks. The snow coloring is from the Selective Coloring effect filter in Photoshop. The cabin is layer/blended on the mountain top, the logs and fence is a telephone pole I layer/blended to make those items, the birds are brushes, the fish at the lake are layer/blended, the wolf is layer/blended on the side of the mountain, the skiff is a brush and the water at the bottom is another image recharacterized to give the image of flowing water. / All this was done in Photoshop 7 and using Flaming Pear plugins for some of the effects. / This is the AFTER image. / / image is the BEFORE image. / I was experimenting with using images that could make another picture. / This art work is registered copyright© 2008 and any copyright infringement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in the USA and International.

Lost Lake, about 25 miles from Hood River, Oregon is one of the best places to go in Oregon. It’s a county campground and park with hiking trails, camping, swimming, fishing, boating, silence and amazing reflections of Mt Hood (on clear, calm days) you can’t go wrong here! But don’t try this in the winter as there will be 3-4 feet feet of ice on the lake. Taken with a CanonXT and a 28-135 Featured in Snow! Glorious Snow!!

A lone fisherman at the end of 9 Mile Beach, Tasmania. It is here that Moulting Lagoon drains out into Coles Bay at Point Bagot, with Freycinet Peninsula National Park in the Distance. Moulting Lagoon is a Game Reserve and is one of ten Ramsar sites (wetlands of international significance) listed in Tasmania. Moulting Lagoon is on this list because it supports a large number of waterbirds, particularly black swans and Australian shelducks, at key stages of their lifecycles. It provides year-round habitat for around 8,000 black swans and is a critical late summer staging area for shelducks, chestnut teal, and several shorebird species. The largest Tasmanian flock of greenshank also occurs at the lagoon. Canon 350D 18-55 IS tonemapped

The Mountain is Upper ST. Regis. It is in Upstate New York(Adirondacks). It’s just outside Lake Placid. Lake Placid is the home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics.

Noojee is located 107 km east of Melbourne. Surrounded by rolling green hills and densely-wooded forests of Mountain Ash, it was once a major timber town. A sawmill still operates but the town’s importance has significantly declined. /
