This is an oil painting I did the day of my wedding. It was a class I was taking and the instructor knew I was getting married that afternoon. So he had the class paint as fast as they could, he said it will come out better then spending a lot of time on it. Well, he was right! All the paintings in the class turned out so beautiful and it took us 2 hours and I was off at noon to get ready for my wedding. This was the happiest day of my life! We were married in the little church in the Garden of the Gods. The most beautiful place on the earth. When I brought my painting home my husband was amazed and loved the picture. To this day we cherish this picture the most. It was in July and the flowers were blooming and there in the back drop was Pikes Peak covered with snow. A day of beauty, with love in our hearts, no wonder this painting turned out so good. This original picture is not available for sale. You can also visit my website: www.RedfishArtwork.com

Lake Mackintosh is a Hydro Tasmania lake near Tullah in Tasmania’s west. You can launch your boat at a number of boat ramps on the Lake and spend the day fishing, or enjoy a picnic or barbecue on the shore. / Literally surrounded by lakes, Tullah is a haven for boating and fishing enthusiasts. You can enjoy a number of walks in the area, including the challenging bushwalk to the summit of Mt Farrell which is rewarded with stunning views. one of the many sites you will see coming thru the great smoky mountains. trout fishing. couldnt have asked for better timing, having a fisherman set in the right gear, the water, and lighting. / i shot this in black and white, it has not been converted , and yes i do have color, that will be uploaded later, but i wanted something different ;), and this was shot with my new 17-85mm lens :) i love it already :):)
trout fishing is a huge thing to do in the great smoky mountains. this fly fisherman had on the perfect gear of what one would think of when thinking of fly fishing. the rain started coming down lightly, and i did get a few shots of him fishing in the rain in BW also :)
This image is based on a play by the Israeli playwright Nissim Aloni. / A young bride runs away from her wedding ceremony to a park where she meets a man who takes every Wednesday afternoon off work to come there and hunt butterflies. The play consists of their dialogs and monologues. / It wasnt the storyline or th details of their conversations that affected me so much. It was the situation, the futility of it all and the melancholy air – neither of them felt they belong where they came from, but they also did not belong where they came to. Although they had much in common, they didnt ‘find’ each other or even help each other. Just two lost people in the middle of nowhere relevant and nowhere significant to go… / In the play here where no robots, it wasnt in a desolate place, and there were no flying fish, but this is my take on the situation and the feelings.
Ev`a*nes”cence\, n. The act or state of vanishing away; disappearance; as, the evanescence of vapor, of a dream The Cuillens mountain range of the Isle of Skye in the far north of Scotland. / Taken last winter, in the twilight after sundown. / The small coloured balls floating out in the bay are fishing buoys.
This is a little fishing lodge I own,its nice to get away from the city lights with a couple of friends. / We do a bit of sailing, some fishing, maybe a few rounds of Skree. And the view is always at its best when Gibbonus Prime rises above the the Atalis Mountains here on the shores of the Sarrsota Sea.

“Climb if you must. But be prepared to fall down.” The old man’s voice shattered the daydreams the flowed through Ben’s young brain. / He ignored the comment and jogged up the deserted path toward the steep hillside ahead. Halfway up he stopped to enjoy the view. The colors of nature swept over him. The warm air blew the odors of sage and wild fennel and pine across his face which was flooded with sunlight. / He thought for a moment that this was where he wanted to be. From this point he could view the beauty of the scene completely. When he reached his destination, he would be looking back at where he had been as well as the other side. But he would not be able to enjoy the mountain silhouetted against the brilliant sun. / He ignored the thought and continued upward. He had to get to the top.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park has water falls in many places. When its hot, people head for the hills of the Smokies. / Cool breezes and water. Swimming, fishing, hiking, and driving trails near by. Shop till you drop in Gatlinburg, and walk your dog if he is well behaved. All kinds of things to do and see, good old Tennessee. Piegon Forge is nearby, I know you like to eat, well I couldn’t name them all. Make fun at the way people talk, come on down yeu all. Maybe you haven’t been here yet, watch out for those curvey roads. One of the most visited parks in the good old USA. GSMNP has a tremendous diversity of plant life. Many people document it or just enjoy it. Rhododendron in bloom around the falls, this gorgous shrub is easily seen because it grows well on exposed ridges at 3,000 to 6,000 feet elevation. They grow 8-12 ft. high.and one of the first I added to my garden, along with the natural ones in the woods. They bloom in June and July in the Park, and about a months difference here later. / Oil on canvas JeffeeArt4u
