Early morning time exposure
Port Adelaide, South Australia
seemed like a lot of rods for them and when I went out there no fish were caught here at Hervey Bay Qld
Zanzibar, Tanzania Fishermen riding bicicles on the sunrise. This one was actually fun. I was taking a walk with my father in the beach at 6 a.m. and there were these fisherman passing by in bicicles. I took a photo of one isolated, but it didn’t come in perfect. I was looking through the LCD trying to figure out what failed and what was needed to improve it when my father, who was slightly ahead of me but turning backwards shouted: “hey, look, more!” I immediatly turned around, mission-impossible like, ducking a bit, instintively composed the picture and clicked after barely seing these 2 fisherman, all that in a frame of second. Couple seconds after imagine my surprise when I saw that it had come out quite good. At least for me heh.
White-faced heron fishing in the shallows at Waikowhai Bay on a cold, clear winter day. Fisherman on the point and Mangere Bridge behind. / Canon PowerShot S5IS
Gary: I captured this fishermen image while on a peaceful stroll along the Kanawha River in downtown Charleston, WV. Well….as peaceful as it could be with Little Diva on my back with his head flapping like it ALWAYS is…even as I type this!! “And we’s STILL together!!!”
Fishermen on the Noarlunga Jetty at sunset. Nikon D200 – 18-200mm. / 28sec @ f/32.
Sayulita, Mexico is a small fishing village just north of Puerto Vallarta. At sunset the local fishermen bring their boats up onto the beach.
This view takes in Fishos in the foreground and Cosy Corner in the background, just below Point Danger. Closer to us is Yellow Bluff.
Preservved fishermen’s shacks on Cannery Row in Monterey. The evening light shining through the side window gave a beautiful glow to this old abandoned shack.
Two Canberra-based fishermen cleaning their catch of the day at Quarantine Bay, Eden, New South Wales, Australia.
Taken at Poole Quay- I have again processed this in HDR- Not sure what these are- Lobster Pots or just Fish Baskets-am sure someone will know and tell me!! Thanks for looking! / Featured in the group Alphabet Soup- July 2009
How fishermen may look to the fish.
Photo capture of fisherman casting into the mangroves hoping for a bite and he just can’t find any fish…lol with a bit of post editing for a chuckle. / /
DAISY and AFLAC Best viewed large. This is “DAISY and AFLAC,” who are the favorite pet ducks of all the fishermen at Jerry’s Lake in South Point, Ohio. Photoshot with my Canon EOS 40D camera.
Evening fishing off the beach at Le Barcares, near Perpignan, South of France,
15” x 11” 140b rough Windsor & Newton Watercolours Portuguese fishermen caught by my camera during a day that was no different from all the other days….. / I just loved the casual relaxed attitude of them all, time on their hands – what a privilege. / I couldn’t wait to get it down on paper.
A couple of local fishermen trying their luck in the estuary of the River Tyne from the harbour wall. The other part of the harbour in the distance sits under Tynemouth Castle. Shot in South Shields. converted into a Holga/film effect
It’s late afternoon and the fishermen in the town of Paros are calling it a day, hauling their nets in and putting away gear. The island is also named Paros. It has fantastic beaches, some of them nude. SEPTEMBER 1997 Taken with a nikon F3, elite ektachrome film iso 100, 105mm nikkor lense 1/125 @ f/8.
Cambodia Kratie Kampi Fishermen working on the Mekong River. When dams being built in China now control the flow of the Mekong River, the supply of fish that feeds some of the poorest areas in Southeast Asia will be badly affected and the livelihoods of people like this will be destroyed. The Irrawaddy Dolphin who live here will also probably become extinct.
