I would like to nominate John Conway’s “Two Mates Fishing” A lot of my favourites are to do with fishing. Nothing settles me more and takes my mind of life’s tribulations than a peaceful day’s fishing. John has captured perfectly, the camaraderie that exists between two mates who have a love of the same pastime. If the sunsets are spectacular, as this one is, then that adds further to one’s enjoyment. This picture simply oozes mateship and peacefulness. Thanks Kev, very much appreciated

Sometimes when you have to have a donut, you HAVE to have a donut. Emmet* and his grumpy cat, Otis, have embarked on a quest for a tasty morning snack. Emmet’s Teacup Racer features a teaspoon handbrake and back propellor (in case of flood). The parasol sunshade with aftermarket compass just add to the luxury. Otis is being towed behind in his Teapot Buggy with turning wheels and spinning propellor because, let’s face it – cats can’t drive. Besides, he wants to keep an eye on the fascinating Fish Transport operation overhead. / *Actually my great uncle Joe, as a child. This original artwork is copyright Ramona Szczerba 2008. It’s a great place for taking pictures of quaint buildings and cruise ships docked for the day.
