Came across this hole in the rocks at North Beach jetty, it’s only visible when the tide is right. / I was fascinated by the way the water got ‘sucked’ away … all framed with fantastic early morning ‘pink’ tones. Canon 40d
Just prior to sunrise over Corio Bay, on what was promising to be a rather wet and stormy day, at Griffin’s Gully, Geelong. These promising signs were spoken of by Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, in the Bible, centuries ago. Matthew 16:1-3 The Pharisees and Sadducees Seek a Sign 1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. /
It was blowing a gale while taking these photos, there was lighting strikes to the far right of the picture, but I wasn’ able to capture any. I didn’t think any of these would turn out any good considering the conditions, so it was a nice suprise to come away with some nice shots. not long after this was taken it started to rain and the people fishing and myself made a mad dash for our cars. all in all a fun afternoon.

Perth skies have been rather enchanting these recent days. We’re getting awesome cloud cover for the past week…I’m always seen running out of the house checking the skies, running back in to wait, then running out again to check 5 minutes later. If this is not a timewaster already, I am furthermore really slacking from Uni work. Lecture and tutorial notes piling up, Pharmacy Business Plan almost nearing due date, workbook still literally empty, drug list not touched since last week’s visit. Oh well…at least today’s shot made my day =) I love Applecross.

Fishing Boats at the Smithton Wharf. / Duck River NW Tasmania I don’t really know much about Orton. When to use it, when not to. Ceduna is an ideal base for exploring the pristine ocean and rugged coastline from Baird Bay to the Head of Bight. Whales are plentiful at the Head of Bight during the winter months, and the surfing at Cactus Beach is arguably some of the best in Australia. The beautiful Gawler Ranges are a short drive inland. The fishing is great all year round. Smoky Bay and Denial Bay oysters are amongst the world’s finest, grown and harvested in the region’s pristine ocean waters and gentle tides.
