This is an image of a storm rolling in during the sunset, where the sun amazingly turned the clouds a very strong and dark red. I had to take a photo of it. It is completely unedited – straight from the camera. / I also took my other work entitled “Contrasting Skies” on the same afternoon/evening.. / Thanks for having a look!

The wild lands are a real place near here. An actual geographical location that I used to spend some time. We discovered it quite by accident, or by trespassing, whatever one wants to call it, and its location is known to only me and a few of my friends… but anyhoo, its a crazy spot, an oasis of absolute emptiness and a forgotten island of grassland in a sea of sand, with nothing but unbeaten paths leading to it. It covers an immense area and it always felt to me like no one owned an ounce of it, even though I knew someone must, this is Kansas after all, there is no public land. The days of being able to spend away the hours there are long past, and I hadn’t thought about the wild lands in years until I had a dream a couple nights ago about these giants walking around out there at dusk. Odd. Hope you dig it.

background is a manipulated photo.. worked on it in PSP X, used ArtRage and various filters. Leo (♌) is the fifth astrological sign of the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Leo. In astrology, Leo is considered to be a “masculine”, positive (extrovert) sign. It is also considered a fire sign and is one of four fixed signs.[2] Leo is ruled by the Sun. Being the fifth sign of the zodiac, Leo has been associated with the astrological fifth house. Individuals born when the Sun was in this sign are considered Leo individuals. The Sun is in Leo roughly from July 23 to August 23. Under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently there roughly from August 10 to September 15. The Sanskrit name of Leo in Hindu astrology is Siṃha. / from Wikipedia. for more info follow Link
