On a frosty june morning I found myself to the top of a local range near Geranium in the Souther Mallee looking at one of the most brilliant sunrise’s I have ever seen. The warm glow of the sun across the clouds and the shifting light made me forget about the the freezing temperatures I was working in.
flock of waterfowl fly into a fiery sunset. Taken at Eagle Bluffs CA, near Columbia, Missouri.
A Magical Phoenix, from mythology and fantasy. Also known as a Firebird. A symbol of rebirth and new beginings. ... This version has been altered to look best on black apparel.
Taken quite some time ago with an older camera but always one of my favorite sunrises…..........This was after a horrendous storm and it was very quiet, very still, almost peaceful…..the smell of rain was still in the air and there was just a hint of sulpher. The amount of lightning which accompanied this storm was a sight to behold; unfortunately I haven’t mastered the art of capturing lightning. / I hope you enjoy this. / / ____ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. I shot this image in November 06 while working on the fireground during the Blue Mountains fires. As a rural firefighter (volunteer), it goes without saying that this helicopter, at the time, was a very welcome sight. Many thanks one and all, for voting this image as the new avatar for the Blue Mountains Group

A Phoenix emerges from the fiery breath of a great Silver Dragon, as they fly around a sun mandala. Pastel pencils on black bristol board, 32” x 40”. In Chinese literature, the Dragon represents the male, or Yang, while the phoenix represents the female, or Yin. They complement one another, creating balance. When together, they are the symbol of marital happiness and harmony. Featured in Dragon’s Fire group.
Another from my fire series. This time a fire fighter begins work as sunlight streams through the smoke above. Some of my other ‘fire’ work. / / /

Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox

I started with one feather-like fractal created in Apophpysis, copied, layered and a multitude of other manipulations to create this mandala. A fiery image honoring the Summer Solstice.
