Gosh, I’m so pleased that my work titled Autumnal Splendor has already been featured. Since it is the first time using the Orton Effect, it surprised and pleased me all at the same time. My second feature was “Behold the Light” and it was featured in the group Forests. I am very humbled at the thought that this image has been featured so often. Because so often, being in the right place at the right time has so much to do with catching a beautiful sight with your camera. I am very pleased that I was in this place at the right time to do this! My third feature of the day is “Moonlight Touches The Mountain” featured in the group Shoot The Moon. While messing around with some old images, I dug up one of many fire works pics.This image had been burried in my hard drive unedited for 2 yrs. / With a quick boost in CS3 vibrance,sharpness,and a minor rotation which was all was needed .The rest was capturted in camera. / An old trick i read about about 30 yrs ago was to set a long exposure and use a piece of cardboard to cover the lens. / This image was set up with a bulb exposure, manual focus,f16,AWB,RAW,tripod,shutter realease cable,lens hood,cardboard. / The cardboard was removed for each burst approx 4 secs & the shutter locked open for 2 min. The rest is a guess on when the frame was filled. This image was featured in the Canon DSLR group / Fire Works
