  • Sydney, Long Reef is a protected marine reserve with rock shelves that extend out about 200m into the sea. We were lucky to have a beautiful cloud and still water reflecting of it. Shot with Cokin Z-Pro Tobacco Filter to give it a mood. The normal image tho looks good are just to wash out and unattractive, so i strap a filter on. Gum Boots is essential for early Sydney Sea Side shoot – unless you want wan mild frostbite at the end of the morning…eiei. Mind you i usually go shoe less in Summer…ahhaha…feel the water. 0.04 sec (1/25) | f/6.3 | 10 mm | ISO: 100 | Bias: 1 +EV | Shade WB / www.hangingpixels.com

  • This, belive it or not, is a self portrait. Using a self-timing shutter I had 10 seconds to run thru the water, climb the rock position myself, take a mouthful of metho and time the breath right. Took me an hour of running back and forward. But i think it was worth it

  • The last peek of the setting sun produced vivid pinks and oranges in the sky. A standard polariser would have destroyed the reds, but a combined polariser and warming filter was able to preserve them. The addition of a reverse ND stop grad filter evened out the exposure in the sky, while careful use of HDR returned the detail in the reflections to give the appearance of it being on fire. / Kilve Beach, in north Somerset, is an inspirational place for geologists and fossil hunters alike, it also makes for otherwordly photos and spectacular sunsets. Camera: Canon 40D / Lens: Canon 17-40mm f/4 / Filters: Singh-Ray warming CPL and reverse ND grad / Edited using Photomatix Pro and Photoshop Elements 5

  • The image has been created as an alternative to the popular and greatly exaggerated theory of global warming and its consequences. Since global warming activists predict a dramatic change of the planet’s surface in the nearest future, the Ice Age Premonition portrays our society in the new Ice Age. / Ice Age – A cold period marked by episodes of extensive glaciations alternating with episodes of relative warmth. Any geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciations may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents. A number of major ice ages have occurred throughout the Earth’s history; the most recent periods were during the Pleistocene Epoch. There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth’s past. The last glacial period ended about ten thousand years ago. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers

  • After painting the Belly Dancing Goddess I wondered what an Aussie Goddess would look like… so… / She would have to be “Natural” relaxing on the beach and in a bikini and thongs. / “A love of Nature” symbolized by the green bikini morphing into ivy and a Sun Beatle( nick named smiley beatle :-) ) which actually landed in my garden when I was painting the goddess. / “Passionate and colourfull” symbolized by a rainbow instead of a Halo. / “A little Dangerous” ie; flames where wings would be, and the band aid on the leg from past scuffles and a tattoo, because she can!. / “Red hot flames rising on one side, the power of the ocean cooling the other. They converge at the top, harmonizing in a rainbow of wisdom, peacefull and balanced. Is she real or she a statue, one foot forward ready to go…

  • Captured Sunday March 1st 2009 at the Mental Health challenge. I was on another boat racing against this one. Last year I had the pleasure of racing on Ice Fire and we came 1st. Skies looked stormy but the Port Phillip bay was quiet calm.

  • I have a poem I am working on with the feeling of storms involved. I am a sucker for the experience one gets in strong weather and felt this storm the other night deserved to be observed as a vibration unto itself. So there is the Goddess and The Gods written about these amazing events and I felt my way to producing a piece that depicts them and us.

  • They were out on the same walk She saw buildings / He saw the sky She saw shadows / He saw the shadows of birds that fly She saw a crack / He saw a crevice She saw a hole / He saw a ditch She saw the homeless / He saw the rich She saw a rock / He saw a diamond When they got home they looked into each other’s eyes, / How shall we ever agree on this life at the same time? / They said all at once / Well… / She said / We must learn to revel in our differences / Lets go against society, / Every time I see differently or you do / Lets break out the champagne and the sweet meats / Every time one sees a problem.. Lets celebrate for the other / Every time one sees a solutions lets do it again … / Celebrate / Celebrate each other.. And then we will loose track of / Perfect timing cause every moment will be just perfect!!
