Yes, his name is Finn—as in Huckleberry Finn. I don’t get the opportunity to take photographs of children very often. I happened to meet little Finn at an Inn in the State of Virginia. His parents are the Inn Keepers. He was born in January 2006 and I couldn’t resist his cute face. Those blue eyes are just amazing in real life. I tried to capture a bit of their magic here. I already emailed this photo to his parents—They were quite pleased by the portrait.

These statues are found in Hannibal Missouri. They honor American author, Mark Twain’s famous characters in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a popular 1876 novel about a young boy growing up in the antebellum South on the Mississippi River in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, Missouri. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (often shortened to Huck Finn) published in 1884.
