  • I was drawn to the delicate beauty and colour of these summer flowers, so just had to photograph them. The lighting created an intimate but dramatic effect.

  • This is one of the lovely roses I used in the flowers I arranged for my dear friend Ani’s birthday celebration!

  • Yes, his name is Finn—as in Huckleberry Finn. I don’t get the opportunity to take photographs of children very often. I happened to meet little Finn at an Inn in the State of Virginia. His parents are the Inn Keepers. He was born in January 2006 and I couldn’t resist his cute face. Those blue eyes are just amazing in real life. I tried to capture a bit of their magic here. I already emailed this photo to his parents—They were quite pleased by the portrait.

After losing all our other pets in the bushfires it left a bit of a hole in our lives. This little fella is making things a lot easier :) Settings Canon 40D, 50mm prime 1/80th @ f1.4, ISO 200 As is…

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a popular 1876 novel about a young boy growing up in the antebellum South on the Mississippi River in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, Missouri. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (often shortened to Huck Finn) published in 1884. It is commonly regarded as one of the Great American Novels, and is one of the first major American novels written in the vernacular, (the common language of that time period and characterized by local color regionalism). / The drifting journey of Huck and his friend Jim, a runaway slave, down the Mississippi River on their raft may be one of the most enduring images of escape and freedom in all of American literature. / (information source: http://en.wikipedia.org)
