  • What is it about seeing two hands entwined, particularly those of an adult and a child, that enthralls me? Perhaps it’s wondering at the relationship between the two and allowing myself to feel the commraderie between them. Perhaps it’s thinking of the simple trust of a child, or the strength that enters an adult when that trust is placed in them. Or comparing that trust to what God desires from His sons and daughters. Whatever the case, I know that the emotion invoked in me at seeing two hands intertwined goes deep.
