Well this is my latest, originally the piece was purple but i changed it with a warm filter also i punched out the contrast. (which is something Im planning to do from now on, to make pieces stand out more!)

Pure Watercolour / Arches 140lb / W/N Paints / 14×10in I recently renamed this painting Innocence… I captured this photo of my grandson Isi, picking buttercups in the garden, He stood studying it for ages, he was in his own little world… Children have such Innocent minds..It made me stop and think about what might lie ahead of him in his life to come, and that also worried me too. How wonderful this age is to be so innocent of worry and all that is happening in the world around us.

Now she is at rest on the turquoise carpet of grace with golden letters of verses from Psalm 23 on it: / “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters” (Ps.23:2) / On her clothes flowers are blooming, flowers of hope for the Lord, and deer are grazing in safety. / Sleep, Beloved Soul. Muster strength for a new day.
