This is Thornseat Lodge, a derelict house in Derbyshire, originally a Gamekeepers house, then in 1934 was turned into an orphange and was stopped being used in the late 80’s, now it is just falling apart, such a waste

Taken a few miles east of Leicester, near Allexton. Its that time in the UK, just before the wheat gets harvested – heavy heads beginning to nod gently under the weight of the grain, and the weather unable to decide whether it is summer or not, threatening to flatten the crop, just it is ready. Leicestershire is full of distant horizons like this, and the Barley is all but in now, much of the ground already having been put under the plough in readiness for the next crop.

Possibly one of the most charismatic tree’s I have ever seen, it’s at a place called Batesford which is West of Geelong. Standing next to it overlooking the landscape at sunrise or sunset is something quite special, a bit like hanging with an old friend lol

An old abandoned Farm house in Yorkshire, a place called Crow edge, not much left now, The person i went with today told me she used to play in here when she was a child, it was empty then!! such a shame, this really was a beautiful house, more pics to follow soon of the outside.

The countryside was beautiful with canola in full bloom and small echium, (I’ve been told this is known as Patersons curse). Whatever the view was amazing. /

There seems to be a storm brewing up over Belmont in Lincolnshire. This amazing field full of poppies is supposed to be a field of oil seed rape, the supplies to the farmers allegedly top up the rape seeds with the cheaper poppy seeds.
