I have just returned from my retreat in East Sussex. What a beautiful place I had the run of the farm in the High Weald (designated our newest national park). The scenery was fantastic and I have some amazing photographs which I will post as soon as time permits. The main aim was to draw and paint and to feel part of the landscape. I was spoilt for choice with amazing trees, lakes, fields etc etc etc. I didn’t waste a second and was up with the lark each morning, painting, walking and drawing and enjoyed every moment. I am this morning posting some drawings and as always would really appreciate your comments.
