Spring can offer the nature lover and the photographer some wonderful opportunities after a long dull Winter. I saw this amazing display of Spring crocus in full bloom in the grounds of Dartington Hall, near Totnes in Devon and just had to get a few frame-filling shots of them. With the tripod set very low and a small aperture to maximise the depth of detail, this is one of the shots I managed.
