Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. This artwork was featured in Outsiders I didn’t plan on ever uploading this, but I’ve really come to like it. I’ve had it as my desktop background for a few days, and, despite its simplicity, I really enjoy it. This is a photo of a painting (original too big to scan) with slight colour changes made in Photoshop. Taken a few miles east of Leicester, near Allexton. Its that time in the UK, just before the wheat gets harvested – heavy heads beginning to nod gently under the weight of the grain, and the weather unable to decide whether it is summer or not, threatening to flatten the crop, just it is ready. Leicestershire is full of distant horizons like this, and the Barley is all but in now, much of the ground already having been put under the plough in readiness for the next crop.
