Playing with my toys: an antique doll head, a plastic pig, and Photoshop. Seven original photos (sky, ground, doll, peeling paint, and 3 pig photos, one of which was duplicated). Lots of layers in CS3. Featured in Surrealism and Fantasy Fine Art Composites.
Main figure, including the watery sphere, is an original cinema4D render; added a few layers in postwork to underline the meaning of the scene.
Inspiration from Italian heavens

The Latin names of my plantscapes are all derived from the species living there. The green and yellow texture surfaces on this painting are inspired by a Lettuce Coral, Agaricia which is commonly found in the Caribbean. The bullio in the title is latin for ‘bubbling’. / I have also made a bronze & glass sculpture based on this painting. This image shows a detail. oil on canvas / 120×80 cm. / original sold
In the not too distant future, we may have beings who are not born as we are. They may be those born of science from birthing vats. How will those beings be treated by humankind? As slaves or as objects to be owned and treated as pleased? Will these beings have feelings as we do? Or will they be simply a machine? Will this type of machine have beliefs? Something to think about. :o) Created in Apophysis 7X. Postwork in Photoshop to create composite image. The face is from a photo I took and combined with the fractal image by turning the head of a statue and transforming/warping to get the perspective I needed. Having been a science fiction buff for many years, there are some books that touched my soul. “I, Robot” by Isaac Asimov, “Faraheit 451” by Ray Bradbury are just a couple of the books that left indelible marks and images. With movies and television, how about “The Next Generation” with Data. I thought, what if the robots created their own social structure in a fashion? Would they have clubs for socializing or just getting their lube jobs? Or maybe get a shocker as their drugs? Do robots dream? Do they want to be human? Do they really feel? Would they hook up to the information networks for more news and upgrades? From all this wondering, came The Bot Club. Where robots can come to get whatever tickles their circuits. :o) Created in Incendia from two images. Postwork in Photoshop for multi-layers, lighting and saturation. Featured in: / Fractal Perception Nov 2009 / Group Incendia Nov 2009
