Scenes of the New Worlds “Castles Into Dusk” The planet wee see here is a sparsely populated planet named Enoch, owned and ruled by House Aune and Prince Nathanael. Seen above the mountain range are two stars and a planet. The twin stars are named Cain and Abel, named so because of Cain’s murderous nature towards his brother star, stealing its stellar material slowly with gravity. High above Enoch is its sister planet, Irad, uninhabitable because of its sulphuric nature, yet mined heavily by the working class of Enoch for its precious aluminium deposits. The woman we see pictured is Princess Runa. The context of this picture is as Prince Nathanael, Runa’s father, fly’s to the systems capital, Seth, to be transported to the throne planet of the Empire, Anshar, where the Emperor and the Heir have been murdered, sending the Empire plummetting into disarray. This is a journey which Runa knows her father may not return from. Since Exile, the Empire has ruled the new homes of mankind. Yet in recent years new voices had spoken; those of the workers. Whispers of revolution, of freedom and fairness had began to echo throughout the empire, travelling on the lips of miners and traders. The nobility had struggled on the brink of failure to keep the riots under control, but the assassination of the Royal Family had perhaps sundered the balance altogether. Although it is a pretty world, Enoch is far from peaceful at this time. With its high concentration of miners, the protests and riots are worse still here. With only one family of nobles, it is perhaps folly that Nathanael leave for Anshar. Though he has left with strict orders for his eldest, Prince Karl. All riots are to be put down at any cost.
