  • shot this in an avenue of trees seriously lit up for the festive season. if you look carefully, you will notice that i have these lights at 4 different levels – the first being in front of the in-focus one, then the subject, behind that the bright little balls of light and finally a whole tree in the blurry background! one of my favorite shots from this winter season. hope you like! • The weather for this years Winter Magic Festival was a bit of everything. But even though there was rain and fog and it was cold… it didn’t stop the crowds from enjoying themselves! Late in the afternoon the mist started to roll in and it was getting dark.. a few storeholders were starting to pack up but the street was still full of people. I took a photo at the time because I really liked the atmosphere and then when I had my week away recently, I let myself start to play with it! This is the result so far… I think I would like to try a few other ideas too… : )) Mixed Media on canvas paper. / 40.5×60
