Whilst most of the crowd watched Melbourne’s Umbria Jazz Festival in subdued contentment, one old man broke out and decided to make his own dance floor. With his stiff staccato moves he entertained the crowd without a worry in the world as he probably enjoyed the day more than anyone else.

Festival season in Ohio runs from about the beginning of April to the end of October. I hope all the walking involved makes up for the fact that I’m pretty sure the word “festival” is an ancient term meaning “all foods can and will be deep fried”.

Aug 6th – Aug 9th is the annual Punk Festival in Blackpool . People come from all and there is never any trouble / Punk culture emerged in United States and United Kingdom in the mid 1970s .They seek to shock with their hairstyles and clothes. Clothing can be ripped and held together with safety pins ..Girls sometimes wear bin liners as dresses .Hair styles vary and often they have a Mohican or Mohawk which is spiked up and brightly coloured. To keep it upright corn starch ,egg white,sprays or even clear glue is used .

This capture is one of many captures whilst in New Orleans during the Jazz Festival, it is one of the largest music festivals in the nation, featuring crowds of people from all over the world, coming to experience music, food, arts, and crafts. Despite the name, it features not only jazz but a large variety of music, including both native Louisiana music and international artists. / New Orleans is located in southeastern Louisiana, straddling the Mississippi River. New Orleans was also home to one of the most famous jazz trumpeter and singer artist Louis Armstrong.
