An abstract card for the Festive Season. The image was achieved by focussing on a large, brightly lit Christmas tree, using a slow timing and moving the camera downwards during the exposure. Not a digital post-pro effect! Location: Zilina, Slovakia. / Nikon D70, Sigma 18-200mm.

An abstract card for the Festive Season. The image was achieved by focussing on a large, brightly lit Christmas tree, using a slow timing and moving the camera downwards during the exposure. I rotated the shot 90° so the lines of light go horizontally. Interestingly, some of the lights, such as that ball and the stars, didn’t get blurred. Cropping but no digital post-pro effects!
