A ferris wheel in motion on a cloudy afternoon.
Caught this with my zoom. Noticed nature intertwined with man made landscape…parallel electricity wires. The fog helped to hide all other elements in the landscape. A few seconds later this fleeting moment was lost as the magpie took flight. Photo Taken: 21-Apr-2007 / Time: Early Morning / Conditions: Fog lifting / / / / / / / / / Some other minimalist art: / / / / / / /

Whirling rides at the Florida State Fair. 10 second exposure at F 22. Tripod and patience to capture ride at the top of its spin cycle, and to have the Ferris Wheel in the background stable.
An early morning image looking across Ullswater in the English Lake District National Park. / The ferry was tied up to the jetty at Poolley Bridge, waiting for the first passengers of the day. / The ferry boat trips are very popular during the Summer months as they travel the length of the lake stopping at Howtown then on to Glenridding at the opposite end of the lake, a most informative commentary of the history and geography of the surrounding area is normally given by the skipper from the wheelhouse, a most enjoyable trip for anyone visiting the area. This is a painting on canvas 107×84cm. i’ve painted it specifically for my 2008 calendar cover.
this was a shot where i was trying to get the impact of the clouds from behind the ferris wheel that it would make the impact of the ferris wheel better with the strong contrast of the picture, enjoy
