I took this panorama in January and eversince then I have been dreading to stitch it together. The shots were all over the place because I was shooting handheld from a sailing boat and it took me forever to make them line up. Now that I am finished I think the work was well worth it.

I didn’t notice the light reflecting from the Opera House when I shot this. My aim was to get a silhouette shot of the Opera House but the light draws your focus to it.

On the beach in Celestún there always seemed to be boats ready to take you out to see the local sights, the Flamingos, whatever other wildlife could be stirred up, a petrified forest, and a lovely little lagoon. I don’t remember the exact price, but the locals are good at creating groups for solo travelers who show up unexpectedly. The little boats go and return to the beach. You may have gone nowhere in particular, but rest assured you had a good time doing it.

Elliott Bay, part of the Puget Sound, is the body of water on which Seattle is located. Pier 59, in the distance, is the home of the Seattle Aquarium. The port of Seattle is one of the top 10 busiest ports in the US. Ferries run from the Seattle waterfront to Bremerton and Bainbridge Island. The port is also used for cruise ships going to Alaska.
