Just caught them in an adorable pose, thought it was just precious. Taken 6/16/08. (Texas) All sales donated to the Texas Ferret Lover’s Rescue Our Mission: / We’re saving lives, as many as we can. / Finding forever homes for our thieving friends. We are a rescue group that takes in homeless, abandoned, and needy ferrets. We evaluate them, get them current on shots, and any medical treatment they may need before finding them a forever home. We are not a business, but a volunteer organization.

This is Bindi, my little mutt ragdoll angora ferret. She was just 9 months old when I took this photo. Bindi will be 2-years old in September. It was pure luck that I got this shot. She is probably the hardest of my ferrets to photograph as she is so tiny and fast. I will never get this shot again, it was a once in a blue moon shot. She barely weighs a pound, she came from Carolina Ferrets out of North Carolina. She is so sweet. Best viewed larger

This was painted in soft pastels. You never know where those little ferrets will hide. I think this one wants to be a cowboy when he grows up.

Just wanted to share a pic of one of my ferrets. His name is Tripp, a.k.a. Trippers, Trippster, Tripper man. We’ve had him for about two years now, he was a rescue from Texas Ferret Lover’s Rescue in Pleasant Grove, TX. He is so fat and has the most beautiful thick coat already, a winter coat I might add. He is very sweet and loves to be picked up and carried around. He does the flat ferret thing and pouts to get picked up, works every time too :D Best viewed larger Sale of a card to Trudi

These are five of my ferrets trying to all fit in one hanging sleep sack and they did it. They are all tiny little girls, clockwise from top is Lillie, then Tosca, not sure if that is Hannah or my little Emma that I lost (white ferret), then there’s Chloe and Miley is in the middle. This sleep sack is made to comfortably hold 1-2 ferrets, but they sometimes pile in all together, sometimes in the hammocks they all just pile on. This photo was taken at least a year ago, but they still do this all the time. There are plenty of sleep sacks, hammocks, round beds, etc., to sleep in, they just want the same one. All five of these ferrets are rescues from Texas Ferret Lovers Rescue! I am submitting this one for the “Too Much” challenge in the Mood & Ambience group.

This is another one of those photos Michael did not deem good enough to upload onto his page. He says the naked lady with ferret idea does not gel well. I merely wanted a lovely portrait with my best friend like the one he has with his best friend Dougal. I thought with the white ferret and white background, and my dark hair, that the skin tones would fit better than clothing. I originally wanted to crop it just below my hairline but from a photographic point of view, the full shot works better.
