A gift picture for a friend of mine. He likes ferrets.
Myst’s little foot. She was asleep.
Farken went with us for a little bush walk. He loves them. We would have walked around 3 or 4 km’s and he followed off lead most of the way. What a little champion.
Here you have a little baby ferret named Ricco. He is about 11 weeks old in this photo. He is saying “I git you momma”!
Featured Pets Are Us – 5/27/2000 / Playful Photogenic Pets – 4/28/2009 / All Soft and Cuddlies !! – 4/27/2009 And his mommy loves him very much. This is one of my ferrets Rocco. He just turned 2-years old on May 27, 2009. He shares a birthday with my youngest son. He is a very sweet boy. He loves to be carried around and will sit up on his back legs and beg and if you place your hand on the floor in front, he will reach out and wrap his front paws around your wrist to be picked up. Looks at me bigger size. Champ and Rocco Wrastle
I was just playing around with this photo of Ricco, he was just 8 months old in this pic. He is now 14 months old. He is a sable roan colored ferret. He’s also a very sweet little guy who likes to get into ALOT of mischief. These roses, my son gave to me this past Mother’s Day. I thought this would make a great all-purpose card for any occasion. Thought it would look adorable on a t-shirt :D Sale of a t-shirt to a best friend of mine outside of Redbubble – thank you Angie Chappel. She has been there for me more than once when I needed her expert medical advice with my ferrets. She was also there for me when I lost my first ferret Emma Zen. Although she lives in PA and I live in TX, an internet ferret-based club called CarpetSharkInc allowed us to become great friends and she continues to be there for me. She is so awesome and so appreciated. Angie is happily married and also a great mother of two beautiful girls and ferret mom to many ferret kids. She is also a kindergarten school teacher. Thanks again Angi!

This is Noah, our first rescue ferret. We adopted Noah when he was about 1 1/2 years old. This will be our 4th Christmas with Noah. Noah is about 4 1/2 years old now and doing great. This photo was taken Christmas 2005 at our vet’s office. He could not use his back legs, we feared the worst, which was Juvenile Lymphoma, but with meds Noah was walking again in a couple of days. Turned out he had probably fallen out of a hammock and injured his back, kinda like when we humans injure ourselves, and it takes a few days to get back up and going. Noah is so precious to me, as all my ferrets are. I have such a huge heart for these little guys, all they want to do is love people and be loved back, they are so misunderstood by some humans. Anyway, I just had to submit this one. Best viewed larger
The babies are growing up quickly…now 6 weeks old….eyes are nearly open…
This is a collage I did last year. I have not tried this year to get any shots of the ferrets in the Santa and Elf Suit. They usually wiggle out within seconds, LOL. They run around the room dragging themselves through tunnels and just whatever they can find to get the bad costumes off and as fast as possible! Some of these little guys are rescues. A card especially for Valentines Day !! One of my sons ferrets on an escape mission from his version of Alcatraz !!
2 photos….. one of the bear and one some pink rust …
my son’s ferret i’m watching while he and his wife are vacationing also featured in ferret family, thank you!
This adorable ball of fluff came to me at Easter time. A couple had been watching him stroll into their yard for a little food for a couple of weeks until they saw him get attacked by a fox and then took him to the Vet and they handed him over to me. He was terribly thin with his ribs poking out and no hair on his tail at all and he was so hungry he ate too fast and vomited up his food for several days. Frodo took a couple of weeks to shine to him but now they are like blood brothers preferring each others company to that of the ladies. He has probably doubled in weight and is a very lazy sleepy content fella who is not keen on the outdoors so this guy may be one that we will be lucky enough not to lose. And he would not even think about biting anyone, so laid back.

Another ink work from the Way Back Department (1992). This character is one of several in the full piece depicting combat among animal people, but none of the other characters turned out so well. My ink style is heavily influenced by Virgil Finlay, Albrecht Durer, Gary Gianni, and of course M.C. Escher.
