Just the barbed wire across the street from my house with a kiss of sunlight.
Lies / Evanescence Bound at every limb by my shackles of fear / Sealed with lies through so many tears / Lost from within, pursuing the end / I fight for the chance to be lied to again You will never be strong enough / You will never be good enough / You were never conceived in love / You will not rise above [Chorus:] / They’ll never see / I’ll never be / I’ll struggle on and on to feed this hunger / Burning deep inside of me But through my tears breaks a blinding light / Birthing a dawn to this endless night / Arms outstretched, awaiting me / An open embrace upon a bleeding tree Rest in me and I’ll comfort you / I have lived and I died for you / Abide in me and I vow to you / I will never forsake you [Chorus] / [Chorus] Rest in me and I’ll comfort you / I have lived and I died for you / Abide in me and I vow to you / I will never forsake you [Chorus]
A shot from….what seems like a lifetime ago, processing was to reflect the dream like quality of thinking about someone far away, and all you want to do is to be given the chance to walk with them on the beach, holding hands. This was and is one of my works that is very sentimental to me. I hope you enjoy it.
The rolling Barabool Hills are located on the outskirts of Geelong.I liked the look of this old cattle yard with it’s rustic timber fencing and lone tree, and used the foreground fencing for impact and depth to the shot.
Late afternoon at East Hill, Albury, NSW, Australia. This spot is only 5 minutes drive from my home and still within the bounds of Albury, it is a popular walking track and a favourite place of mine and my dogs.

The provincetown beach areas have these fences, mostly along the roads, which prevent the sand from migrating on to the road. I love these areas for the everchanging landscape and, well, there’s just something about sand on your feet… Black and white work is somewhat of a departure for me but after living with this one for a while I began to like it a lot. Something about the contrasting geometric shapes of the fence and the rolling dunes brought into stark contrast which otherwise, might go unnoticed in a color rendition.
Burnt from a bushfire these posts have been temporary repaired then abandoned as was the farm. The remains have a very colourful, moss, fungi, rust and ash combination covering. SW Western Australia

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Camels Hump As seen from Doug Sky Lookout, Mt Kaputar National Park, New South Wales. The Mt Kaputar (pronounced cap you tar) National Park lies to the east of Narrabri (approximately 53Km) and to the west of Barraba (approximately 55Km). Mt Kaputar, on the western edge of the Great Dividing Range, is the highest point until you reach Africa, and from its peak (on a clear day), about 10 percent of New South Wales is visible for 360º. The Mt Kaputar National Park is very much a local secret and holds a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife, including many threatened species. As much as 17 million years of erosion has sculpted the now extinct Nandewar volcano and what is left offers a majestic skyline of rocky outcrops with spectacular views. Mt Kaputar’s summit is 1524m and there are 11 marked walking tracks. Sets of Two / View_from_Doug_Sky_Lookout
This farmhouse is located on 111th just south of Isabelle in Erie, Colorado. I dread the day they pave this road. I love the dirt road, I love the farmland and I love that humble little house with its white picket fence! Oh yes and the Colorado Sky speaks for itself! /
Something about this just caught my eye.

This is one of my images depicting life in rural Alberta. Taken on the weekend of my mom’s funeral, I began to see more of the world in black & white. This image as powerful as it is without color, conveys a wonderful sense of tranquility and harmony even amidst the cold of winter. This photo was captured just north of Camrose, Alberta Canada. I hope you enjoy it.
