I don’t usually do IR shots with people or animals, but this horse was kind enough to stay still for me for 2 seconds. ......................................................................................................... An IR shot of two horses. / Luckily they both stood still for the 2 sec’s I needed them to.
We were hiking along a snow covered trail in Jasper National Park (Alberta Canada) and came across this outpost. Just had to shoot it. Featured on the RedBubble homepage on Dec 24, 2008 Taken with Canon Rebel and Sigma 75-300mm lens
A beautiful winter day in Sweden.
I travel on this road 5 days a week as I head to & from work. On this morning the lighting was so good I stopped several times to take snaps. This is one of the snaps taken that morning. Thought I’d share it with everyone here in Redbubble Land. / This one is a small thank you to everyone who has stopped by & viewed my work. Also thanks to everyone who has left me a kind comment; sorry if I have not got back to you all. / Best wishes & kind regards to everyone over the festive period & beyond. Peace to you all. / /

Lost in Utah would have been a more apt title after the GPS affectionately known as “Dorothy” lead me to a graveyard instead of a lake lol. I discovered some gorgeous countryside along route. There is nothing better than getting lost :))
Frosty morning on the way to Cumbria from Lancashire.

As I shot this particular image, the sun was just appearing across the lake on the trees in the distance. It played hide and seek the whole time I was out. Fortunately, the winds were calm … so the branches were filled with snow. I took this photo last year in Upstate NY. My calico cat, Little Bear had never seen snow before and these were her tracks. After watching her walk through the snow and towards the sunlight I felt that she was like me wanting that warm Florida sun. Living in Florida for the first 9+ years of her life snow was NOT something she was a fan of… and NEITHER AM I…lol…:) I am moving back home to Florida next month! YIPPEE!! Needless to say… I most likely will not be taking any more snow photos for a VERY VERY VERY VERY long time! This is Little Bear.. now 10 1/2 years old.
A very Merry Christmas to all!!! This image is a personal favorite of mine … looking closely you can see the shape of a cross at the top of the large tree at the end of the fence line … one of those situations where the camera saw what the photographer did not. Taken at the top of Blue Knob in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. This image was taken on January 20, 2009 with the Nikon D40x and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. 1/320, aperture f/14.00, exp. -.33, iso 400. Textures added in Photoshop.
