  • Last rays of light hitting the tree on top of a hill giving a wonderful pink hue.

  • Taken in late afternoon light at East Hill, Albury, NSW, Australia.

  • When I saw this bull in a kneeling position, eating grass on the opposite side of the fence, I turned the car around and stopped to take its photo. I thought it was a classic photo to illustrate the old cliche, “The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.”

  • I am thinking of entering this into a competition that has a rural theme. What do you bubblers think?

  • Imagine a pool of muddy water that is so hot that steam constantly rises from the surface… bubbles keep rising to the surface and breaking… releasing hydrogen sulphide gas into the steam so that everything smells of rotten eggs… The strength of nature that kills the trees, leaving only the barest of silhouettes behind. A magical place once you can step beyond the smell… especially as the sun began to set behind the swirling mist of steam. Kuirau Park, Rotorua / New Zealand. Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 / f/8.0, 7.9mm, ISO 64

  • The Land is a series of paintings depicting life on an Australian outback property. There are 5 works in the series and they look fantastic presented five prints in one frame.
