  • / / Reflection is a self-portrait taken from photographic artist Jaeda DeWalt’s Infusion of Color series and is a part of the DeWalt Gallery collection. About this image / Reflects that quiet place inside, that is hidden underneath the chaos of everyday life. That sacred space where dreams are born, wisdom breathes and love is experienced, from the inside out. It is serenity, peace, love, light and the bliss of simply BEING. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Available for sale as Laminated Prints, Cards, Matted Prints, Posters, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints / / Image featured in Self as Other on 8-4-2009 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /

I use it to do my stomach crunches and sit-ups. I remembered the movie, “The Professional” and decided to belt myself to the edge of my bed to do my sit-ups, the way Leon did in the movie, until my new stability ball arrived. I ended up hooking a bunch of belts together and thought to myself “Hey, that would make an awesome photo prop!” and the Belted series was conceived. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / visit the rest of this series . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / View All Art » 1 2 3 4 5 6 browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /

  • The Huldra is a creature in Scandanavian Myth that takes on the appearance of a beautiful young woman so it can lure it’s male victims into the forest (with the promise of kinky sex no doubt!) where she devours them.. The Huldra is a shapeshifter and often is in a “inbetween” stage where half of her torso is a hollowed out tree..which she can slip in and out of as need be… Technical stuff for all you PhotoShop geeks – This took approximately 12 hours to do and has 27 layers (several of those layers are “adjustment layers” (especially using “curves”)as well as the usual texture and color overlays..) / All photographs used (model, forest background, tree trunk ,vines, and textures) were shot by me – absolutely no stock images used…

  • A COLLABORATION WITH LINAJI / (Thank you very much for your excellent poem) Where Do You Love From…Really / Author: linaji Where Do You Love From? / Your pink painted toes? / Or the hollow of your sighs / As my tongue journeys unabashedly / Down the silk trails of your thighs Does my latent life scream Onlyness? / Echo Eons from the heart / Where do you / Love from / Live From / Darling / When do we ever start? History has changed much / Now that Eve did eat the snake, / She brought about apples only / For mother’s pie in Adam’s wake Where do you Love from / Really? / The marrow of your bones? / Is longing, loving and living here / A pirates chest of stones? What about your fingertips? / Dipping softly into my flesh, / Do I utter sighs with beggars eyes / Or do I let our two lips mesh? Do you feel from what is stillness / A time when lovers care, / Do you ooze the sweet-laced vapors? / That my focus on you dares, That moan / That cry / That primal stare / That leads me inside you / Elusive hips that ride your smile / And worlds outside the Que. / A passions mist that takes our lips / A fog beyond compare, / I lay here spent with one leg bent / And dream with you I dare.. Now,, Where do you Love from,,,, / Really. FROM PARIS SERIES: / UNE FEMME PENSIVE / GLAMOUR / / BELLE PARISIENNE / / CHARLESTON / / / BELLE DE JOUR / / / FEMME EN BLEU /

  • 24” x 36” acrylic on canvas. Copyright Derek Shockey 2008. 450.00 for original. Prints will ba available soon. ”... I said dance for me fancuilla gentile, / I said laugh awhile I can make your heart feel, / I said fly with me touch the face of the true god, / and then cry with joy at the depth of my love. ‘cause I’ve prayed days, and I’ve prayed nights, / for the lord to just to send me home some sign, / I’ve looked long and I’ve looked far, / bring peace to my black and empty heart…” -Harvey

  • A collaboration between myself and Adrian Carmody We both got to model and photograph each other. Our theme was based on 1940s Gangster / Film Noir. We sourced the props and costuming as best as we could and finally made a date to shoot this in the studio. 4 hours of role play, laughs and a bundle of photos to play with afterward! This image is also showcased in the 2009 calendar (click image to view the calendar) / Hilarious illustrated version.

  • 1940s based portrait Model: Nelli

  • First artwork in a new series I am working on inspired by the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In this iconic image, a beautiful but dangerous Queen of Hearts as femme fatale draws her finger across her throat to signify her threatening intentions. “The Queen had only one way of settling all difficulties, great or small. ‘Off with his head!’ she said, without even looking round.” / -Lewis Carroll, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland “ Original artwork measures 19×25 inches, mixed media on gray Strathmore watercolor paper. This artwork took about twelve hours to complete over a two-day period. View more of my artwork at http://www.lynnetteshelley.com
