I have altered the image slightly digitally enhancing it, to grunge it up for tshirt fashionability and functionality My darling ‘Illiki’ was inspired by James Michener’s novel ‘Hawaii’ and the beautiful young hawaiian girl who is one of the charming characters early on in the story. I was completely swept away during the reading of this incredible novel, highly recommended reading :D Iliki is also available as a card

The design for Migaloo comes from the ‘Beach Series’ of art by Karin Taylor. / The original painting was a mixed media production on canvas textured paper, and has since sold to someone living in Sydney who is the editor of a magazine. / Migaloo is one of my favourite paintings. I hope you like her too.

Two sweet little girls with towels over their shoulders, one in a terry towelling dress on their way to the beach, and it’s such a bright sunny day with a big swell, hope they know to swim between the flags!!!
