Whilst taking photos of a friends baby I managed to get this wonderful shot of only the hand and feet as the young baby began to reach and grab, explore and experience the wonderful things of life and self awareness. I feel it is a reminder that we need to break away from the sense that we have all things figured out or that there is nothing new for us to explore or experience. God loves our creativeness and the desire we each have to learn new and exciting things. I used the white wall behind and a shallow DOF created by standing back and zooming in to give this very plain and bright background to really bring out the contrast in the colours. • Canon EOS-1Ds Mark ll / • 28-300mm IS zoom lens / • f/6.3 / • 1/60 / • Exposure Bias -1.33 / • ISO 160

My son has just completed his first lot of swimming lessons. These are his little feet, breaking through the waters surface. Untouched photograph shot on 35mm with a disposable waterproof toy camera that I picked up for $6 in one of those cheapo shops. I’m off to the coast for the long weekend, Happy Australia Day everyone, see you next week. Best viewed LARGE

This is one of those moments in time which i will never forget. A very special boy and a heart of kindness. My Inpsiration and motivation to help these children is children like David. David used to live in Tunga/Zuga village about 300 miles from our mission center in remote Nigeria. This was taken in 2006 while on Mission to the area. David cannot walk at all, and crawls on his hands and knees. he was very ill when we discovered him sitting against his mothers house. David has polio, and this has paralysed him from the waist down. He was covered in his excrement and urine. There was only his mother to care for him, and she was also sick and lost the power of her left side due to a stroke. Last week we arranged to David and his mother to travel along with the twins to our Mission Center. There we will do what we can to care for them. We hope to raise money to buy him a special trike, which he can power with his hands. it costs £280-about $590. This will mean that Little David will be mobile. We have provided two to one girl called divine and a boy called Robert, through two kind supporters of our mission. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM SALE OF MY ART, AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. WE TAKE NOTHING OUT OF WHAT YOU GIVE TOWARDS CHARITY OVERHEADS. WE ARE NOT SALARIED AND COVER OUR OWN TRAVEL EXPENSES.
